Group Therapy
Group Topics Grounded in Books and Meditation / Mindfulness:
The Inner Work of Racial Justice: Healing Ourselves and Transforming Our Communities Through Mindfulness by Rhonda V. Magee a law professor, taught classes about race and justice in American legal history. In the course of that work, she saw that her teachings of buddhism and mindfulness practices could be tools to understand race and racism. As a result, she began bringing meditation into the classroom.
Her book, The Inner Work of Racial Justice: Healing Ourselves and Transforming Our Communities Through Mindfulness is a focus of two groups I am running to process and work through our current political and social climate. If you are interested in taking part, please sign up on this page below.
The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer: I have run many groups on this book and have taught the teachings to many individually as well. Going through this text on a group level is a very deep and enlightening experience. I have spent time with Singer and have deeply integrated the way he speaks about the process of spiritual awakening. This is very much the basis of how I work. It is deep, effective, and transformative. Join the next Untethered group.
A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle: Oprah stated if you could only read one book in your entire life, this is the book. I led a group through it and was incredibly enlightening. This is a group that fits best with someone already familiar with consciousness work, as it is multi-layered. Join the next group.
Stillness Speaks by Eckhart Tolle: This is a very meditative group for people interested in experiencing life from the space of awareness.
The Four Agreements By Don Miguel Ruiz: Early in my work I did a short term apprenticeship with one of Don Miguel’s teachers. This is a great book to introduce someone to consciousness and being awake. Many valuable lessons that are grounded in the truth.
The Seven Spiritual Laws by Deepak Chopra: I’m very interested in creating a group that is grounded in this text.
The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by Dalai Lama
More Group Topics Grounded in Meditation/Mindfulness:
Living in Uncertainty: Crisis brings opportunity for deep shifts inside and out. Together, we can strengthen our depth of connection when we choose to focus on presence, love, connection and trust. We will ground ourselves in stillness, and live in the moment with a new relationship to fear. These 4 Keys are vital to living in uncertainty and making the shift to a deeper dimension. Learn the four keys to living in uncertainty.
Mindful Moms: A mindfulness based group where I support moms and teach mindfulness practices to ground them as well as to teach their children useful practices.
Conscious Kids: A mindfulness based group that involves art and mindfulness based processes that help children process emotion and thought patterns.
Mindfulness for Schools: I provide professional development for teachers as well as going into their classrooms to teach mindfulness to their students. Download my flyer from a past mindfulness for classrooms training.
Adyashanti Talks: In this group I send out various talks by Adyashanti and we would come together to discuss our experience and process around each subject. Having done a silent mediation retreat with Adyashanti, I connect clients to the depth of his approach and teachings.
Open to suggestions: if you have a book, idea, or need for a group please email me and I am happy to consider what else we can work with!

It is all here to purify and open us up.
Let the world’s troubles surround you like a cloak and the bright light of being can transform that pain and suffering to freedom and liberation. Every frustration, every heartbreak is a door into the infinite. Let it be that for you too. Resistance only imprisons the self and locks one to egoic chaos. Flow with whatever is and become a part of the symphony of life.
